You know you are addicted to facebook when...
- You know you
are addicted to Facebook when you log off Facebook, turn your computer off, go
to bed, role over, and log onto your Facebook from your phone one last time for
the night
- When something exciting happens you find yourself thinking about how you
could use it as your Facebook update of the hour.
- You have several Facebook friends that you've never actually met in
person.
- When your
friend breaks up and you know about it before they're finished crying because
of the little broken heart that popped up on the mini-feed (which you were
watching of course)
- Your profile has so many applications on it that it takes several minutes
to load.
- You kiss your girlfriend's profile page
- You cry when
someone rejects your friend request.
- You log off your profile and get this awful empty feeling, like you just
pulled the plug on a loved one.
- You start doing things just so that you can later add them to your hobbies
section.
- Your dog has its own Facebook page.
- You leave
for 10 minutes and start going through withdrawal
- You only check your emails to see if you need to check Facebook
- Your relationship status is only official if its been updated on Facebook

in public and someone says something funny and you have the urge to say
"LIKE!"
- The word "poke" is no longer considered something physical to
you
- You know you are addicted to Facebook when it
becomes your main source of news
- Your dreams
involve people writing messages on your wall.
- You know you're friends boyfriend is cheating on her before she knows
- You find yourself getting mad at other people for not having a Facebook
account. How can you ever be friends?
- You start sending your friends Facebook messages instead of posting on
their walls so other people can't see just how much you go on.
- Your eyeglasses now have a permanent bluish color burned in on them
- You add Facebook to your quick links computer toolbar, then delete it
telling yourself you're going to stop visiting Facebook often enough to need
it, then give up and add it again, then delete it...
You tell people to Facebook you if they want to meet up with you somewhere
because you know you'll see their message a few minutes after its posted.
- When someone writes on your wall, you purposely wait a few hours before
replying to make it seem like you're not as addicted to Facebook as you really
are.
- You get upset when Facebook is temporarily unavailable
- You randomly start talking to someone about the pictures on their Facebook
from 4 years ago or you make comments like "I see you added swimming
to your interests".
- You have conversations with people through their message inboxes
- 8:34 you comment
8:39 they reply
8:40 you reply...etc
- You feel distressed after a whole day of not using Facebook for whatever
reason and make up for it by contacting everyone you know.
- You ask a plumber how much it would cost to replace the chair in front of
your computer with a toilet
- You get offended when your boyfriend/girlfriend doesn't contact you on Facebook for three days in a row and immediately assume they must be ready to
break up with you as a result.
- While hanging out with friends, you repeatedly ask to use their computer
to check your Facebook to see if anything earth shattering has happened.
- You regularly have conversations with your best friend about other
people's Facebook profiles.
